It has been amazing watching our community come together as one to tackle this crisis.
I’ve witnessed first-hand the inspiring work being done in areas like Thriplow, Hardwick and Cambourne, and I am also proud of the dedication and bravery of our NHS staff, who are at the front line. We owe them all our gratitude.
The British public has a great history of defiance in the face of adversity. Whether we are calling on our blitz spirit or that old English maxim of the stiff upper lip, if we work together we can win this battle.
On this page, you will find information and links on how you can volunteer, donate or help support both the national efforts and the local response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

They currently need:

- Disposable plastic gloves
- Eye Protection (disposable gloves/visors)
If you have a significant offer of help which you believe could benefit the hospital at this time, please email:

NHS Volunteer Scheme
NHS Volunteer Responders has been set up to support the NHS and the care sector during the COVID-19 outbreak.
To do this the government is asking for an 'army' of volunteers who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well.
Our doctors, nurses, those working in local authorities and other professionals, will be able to refer people in to NHS Volunteer Responders and be confident that they have been matched with a reliable, named volunteer.
The Government effort to address the increased need for ventilators as a result of COVID-19 does continue. If you wish to get in touch regarding existing ventilator stock, please contact email@example.com.
